Don’t just send Santa a letter yet if you want him to get you an iPhone as your Christmas gift. A smarter move would be to wait till January. Although that’s just a bit off season you could postpone your present till early next year. The wait will be worth it!

Tesco had already mentioned its intention to sell its iPhone this Christmas. However if you want to wait for something that could be even better then wait for Vodafone’s launch its iPhone into the market which will only be in January.

Apple had initially given O2 all rights to sell its iPhone in the UK market. This was way back in 2007 where you had to walk into the O2 store and pick up an iPhone by paying 329 GBP upfront along with monthly charges.

Come January and consumers will have an array of operators to choose from who have all teamed up with iPhone. This clearly displays the consumer market, where they have a choice not like how it was a few ears ago. There could also be stiff competitions among of these sellers, in a bid to outdo the others. Right now the only difference between O2 and Orange is a few pennies.

It will take some time for Tesco to let out its price factor, however this is the best Christmas present yet. And if you want better, then wait for January. The mobile comparison website OneCompare.com, Peter Gerrard said, “It’s probably not going to happen. However there are ways in which Vodafone might be able to massage the prices. One might be to offer a three-year contract-you’d still have to buy the phone, but in return for signing a 36-month contract you might have substantially low payment.” this was in response to speculation to price drops in the iPhone markets.
