The following claim has been made by a French businessman. According to what he has to say, the screen of his iPhone crushed to pieces without being put into any kind of a situation. He has asked for an independent expert to look into the matter and the safety standards of the device so that he can drag this one down to court.

Apple Lawyers and Bouygues who is responsible for marketing the iPhone brand in France opposed the claim stating that is was nothing short of an accident. Infact they say that it is a pure police fraud inquiry. This has been stated by Patrick Luciani who is a lawyer.

Luciani said to the commercial court after lodging in a motion at southern Cannes, “My client wants a neutral expert to tell him what caused this problem and tell him whether he can continue to use this type of telephone.”

This mishap has been backed by several users of the French iPhone who claim that their touchscreens have shattered. There is also one individual who claims to have been hit by a flying spec of shattered glass. Contrary to claims however, manufacturers have mentioned that the design does not carry any kind of flaw.

French authorities are looking into the matter but have however failed to gather up any evidence that supports the people’s claims. The firm mentioned that the glass can only be shattered if some kind of external force was applied to it.

December 3rd is when the Cannes court will give out its rule on the case.
