In a surprising move, iPhone worm creator Ashley Towns landed himself a job at iPhone as a developer. Ashley has followed the same path as Michael ‘Mikeyy’ Mooney, the Twitter worm creator who got hired in spite of creating inconvenience to the organization. Ashley definitely impressed his employers when he broke though the loophole in Operating System of the iPhone to create a worm.
This was communicated by the man himself on Twitter. Unfortunately, this was taken positively by all individuals involved within the industry. The man who had opposed the recruit of Michael Mooney, Graham Cluley, once again lashed out at the latest development. The security analyst at Sophos Labs stated that the worm created in the iPhone has led to the conception of one more worm which has the potential to pilfer financial statistics from the iPhone and the iPod.
According to sources, Ashley Town will be joining an IPhone App development company based in Australia by the name of Mogeneration. The hiring of Towns does set a good example to youngsters of today. They would realize that in spite of causing headaches to iPhone customers all over, if Towns could secure a job, then might as well follow suit.
However, to reiterate, creating and notifying errors of this sort does not always benefit the individual. More often than not, a crime of this sort will land that individual in jail. Its important that developments of this sort is managed by companies involved with the product rather than have third parties try to make money out of the whole drama.
