The International Federation of the Periodical Press (FIPP) is planning on making a complaint to Apple over an app that has been developed by a German publisher Springer. They want that the publisher censor the iPhone apps that show naked girls.

The tabloid which is owned by Springer Bilds “Shake the Bild Girl”an apps allows users of the iPhone to undress the model. Every time the user shakes the iPhone the girl in the apps takes off one item of her clothing. Bild has naked girls on its pages everyday. According to a ruling from Apple, the girls featured in the ads were asked to wear bikinis.

The Association of German Magazine Publishers (VDZ) had asked the FIPP to get intouch with Apple to get the issue resolved. FIPP is currently in the process of debating the matter but does not have anything else to say regarding the matter.

Wolfgang Fuerstner, the chief executive of VDZ has already warned saying that Apple would represent the move towards the censorship. An interview published by Der Spiegel the German Magazine he said, “Publisher’s can’t sell their soul just to get a few lousy pennies from Apple.” The CEO of Bild Digital Donata Hopfen agreed to this and said, “Today they censor nipples, tomorrow editorial content.”

Apple had already told its publishers who are creators of general interest apps to respect the US “no nipples” policy. It was not long ago, in November itself when the Stern app which is a German weekly was not allowed to feature in the Apple apps store because of the photo gallery that had erotic pictures in them.

Slashat.se the Swedish tech blog has seemed to get a direct message from Steve Jobs back with them. The email that they had sent him stated if the iPad which worked on the WI-FI system would include a feature that would tether the internet with the iPhone’s 3G connection.

The Swedish tech site blogger sent this message out to Jobs the CEO of Apple “I’m Jezper from Sweden, a long time Apple fan. Currently about to replace the very last computer at hoe with a brand spanking new iMac i7! I’m also awaiting the release of the iPad. However, I have one question,: will the Wi-Fi only version somehow support tethering through my iPhone?”

The reply the Jobs sent back to this user was very straight forward and there was no mincing of words. He replied saying, “No-Sent from my Phone.”

The reply did come from Jobs himself and this was confirmed by the source. This also showed the CEO of the largest smartphone manufacturer was still using the 3.1.2 iPhone and did not even bother to upgrade the iPhone to the latest version which was a 3.1.3 which had been only recently released last month.

The news site The Register in commented on this saying that although Jobs had given a firm reply it really was the decision of the carrier rather than the CEO of Apple.

The tetherers for the UK iPhone had signed a plan that was on the lines of O2. Vodafone and Orange should consider themselves lucky. Till date AT&T the iPhone official carriers is currently not offering its support for basic iPhone tethering.

With the current sales of the IPhone’s looking good, this Apple product is expected to be the leading smart phone by next year. Although Blackberry leads the smart phone sales presently with a market share of3% as compared to the IPhone’s share of 2%, this expected to increase for both brands by next year upto 8% and 11% respectively.

This information has been confirmed by financial experts Forbes. Today, experts use the assistance of Trevis application to gauge the sale of products and the impact it could have on its stocks. According to Forbes, this change of IPhone taking over Blackberry is prematurely because Apple has a lot more to offer through several of its products.

Some of these products include consumer products such as IMac, IPods and Apple TV while on the same lines servicing its customers through ITunes and IPhone applications make it more eye-catching to consumers around the world.

The advent of smart phones in the last few years has been tremendous though. Since 2007, both Blackberry as well as IPhone has increased their market shares to 3% and 2% respectively from a meager 1% and 0.2% respectively.

Blackberry promoted the use of smart phone around the world though its safe messaging but the marketing powers of Apple along with its technology development and online power has shot up the sales and has begun eating into the sales of Blackberry as well.

According to experts, before anyone realizes, IPhone will take over as the leader of smart phones.

Plants vs. Zombies are a game that was released in 2009 for the IMac and PC. Now this game can be moved to the IPhone as well.

The brief of this game is it is a defensive strategy game. The game involves the user being the owner of a home that is being attacked by zombies. In order to fight the enemies, the owner has to plant mushrooms, peapods along with other legumes which are lethal to the dead.

An interesting fact of the game is that the zombies could be of all kinds, i.e., in the form of dolphins, balloon riders and even Zamboni- riding zombies. The adventure mode of the game is the main part of the game and once successful in completing this mission, the user can get involved in several mini games as well as puzzles. The art work in the game along with its various strategies that can be used in the game makes it playable several times.

Unfortunately the mini games and puzzles are not available on the IPhone currently. The game is driven by a character named Crazy Dave who along with his sense of humor also assists through various stages of the game.

Considered to be addictive, this game has got six major levels in the adventure mode, with each level having several missions.

The user has to use to keep his or her house guard both during the day as well as the night by utilizing various plants depending on their strength.

When an IPhone user from Sweden had mailed Steve Jobs whether he could tether the Wi-Fi Only I-Pad to the IPhone, the answer was spontaneous: NO.

At the moment, Apple supports tethering to Bluetooth as well as USB but not Wi-Fi. Tethering is not a popular way to share applications with another cattier and this is not supported by AT&T in the US along with other carriers around the world.

For one to tether the IPhone from a Mac or PC, the computer will have to be connected to the IPhone using either Bluetooth or the USB. This in turn will have to sustain a network connection. It is not known whether I Pad can support a network connection Inspite of it having a Bluetooth connection. This network connection is called the Wireless IAP. Since IPhone does not support IAP, it is doubtful whether the IPhone can be tethered to the I Pad.

To make matters worse, IPhone Operating System currently does not support reverse tethering and neither does it act as a medium to share internet access over Wi-Fi to other computers, considering that the operating system on IPhone devices can access all Wi-Fi ports.

Apple has not made any official announcement about the capability of I Pad to tether the I Pads data access plan as yet. Because the data plan on the I Pad is priced at a lower rate as compared to other 3G competitors, At&T thinks that this will not be used for general sharing purposes.

Apple is now heating up to the smartphone competition. A recent report shows that the market share for Apple has loosing grounds, while Google’s Android is taking over.

These figures were given by Quantcast the media analysts which clearly showed that the iPhone OS based devices although makes up for most of the mobile consumption market it has on the hindsight fallen in its market share since January. This was the same month that Google’s android was introduced to the people as Nexus One. Apart from that there were a few other Android powered smartphones that were showcased during the Mobile World Congress that was held in February. Most market watchers are wondering if this is only the beginning for the iPhone?

According to the reports that were released, the android market has been only growing healthier ever since October. In Feb it had shown that the growth was about 8.3% which brings it up to around 15.2%. Although there has been a fall in the Apple share value it still is leading with 63.7 % hold of the market.

The ones that had some of the best figures in the report was RIM’s the Blackberry which showed that it had a 13.8% increase in the same period. However it was not good enough to bring it up from the bottom of the lot since it had only a 9.2 % of the pie.

With a lot of other competitive phones in the market it was evident that Apple would experience a fall in the market. However Apple has currently sued HTC the makers of Nexus One for patent violations.

This is an amazing game apps that has been recently launched for the iPhone and is called the Bank Run. The apps is integrated with a movie that makes you interact with it. Those who love action packed games will love playing this since it has a video footage that is real.

While playing the game players can actually take the role of the young office drone, Evan who is already caught in a conspiracy that also includes a few attractive secret agents to put him off track and harm him. Apart from them, Evan has to also deal with bullets, crooked cops, armed thugs who have covered their faces in ski masks and even dodge cars during the entire game. Players have to decide about whom Evan needs to trust from the untrustworthy. Any wrong choice or wrong move they get the option to either hone their skills or even try again to test their luck.

According to Chris Lund, the founder and director at SilkTricky for Bank Run says, “The reaction to the ‘The Outbreak’ inspired us to go even further. We wanted to push the envelope of interactive storytelling, and the iPhone platform presented the perfect opportunity to do so.”

This game follows the theory of ‘kill or be killed’. Users are sure to love this adventure, action filled games where survival is the key and is dependant on how the users play the game. They need Evan to fight against Sisemen and sent him back into disarray. The game advises, “Trust no one and let the weapon do the talking.”

The game contains great sound/music as well as offers throughout all the levels.

You can download the game from the Apple Apps store for $1.99.
